Spring vacation

I will come spring vocation soon. I think that one year finish in the wink of eye. But I was looking forward to coming vocation. Fitst of all, I will work a part time job. When I take classes, I don't have working time. I have many free time in spring vocation. I want to earn money. Secondly, I will study English. I worry about my English skil, so I have to study English more. I am going to study TOEIC, watch western movies and listen to foreign music. If I can, I study for an hour every day. Thirdly, I want to play with my friends. I want to go to many places. For example, spa and Aso. I will drive by my self.

Gooda morning. I had a influenza after a coming of age day. This day was very cold, so I cought a cold. But it was influenza. I had a influenza for the first time. I had a high fever, and I slept long time. I recovered from influenza in a week. I am in high spirits today.

I worked a part time job last Saturday. After that, I played basketball with my friends.They are club mates in junior high school. I belonged to the basketball club from the elementary school to the high school. But I don't play it now. I don't have free time, and I was lack of exercise. I had played basketball for a long time, so I couldn't run at all. 7 people gathered in jim this time, so it is few. We also played volleyball. I refreshed, and I enjoyed time. I will play basketball again. I want to gather many people next time.

I start test today, so I have to study hard. But I don't want to study. Ha ha ha (: Do my best!!

January 8 and 10

I went to elementary school to open a time capsule. When I was in the fourth grade, I wrote a letter. I met many old friends, and they changed cool and beautiful. We open a time capsule. I found old penmanship, pictures and letter. After that, it hold an alumni in night. We drink alcholic now, but we can't drink ten years ago. I talked old friends and teachers. I like elementary school's friends. They were so kind, and everyone called "Nishimura!". Many friends called me "Nishimura", but my high school friend's called me "Maya". I longed for the days of elementary school.


Next, It was a coming of age day the other day. A coming of age day is a Japanese holiday held annually on the secound Monday of January. It is held in order to conglatulate and encourage all those who have reached the age of majority over the past year. I was looking forward to coming a day. I wake up 4:45 am and went to beauty salon 6:00 am. Girls were busy to prepare. I wore a kimono. My kimono's color is red, so I like red the best of all colors. Foreigner images that Japanesse wear a kimono. But we rarely wear a kimono. Then, I went to coming of age ceremony with my friends. I have not seen old friends for a long time. There were many elementary school and junior high school's friends. I took a picture and talked with them. We enjoyed a good time, so I like them. I want to meet them again. It was my good memory.

I am happy to stay in Minnesota. I came to a foreign country for the first time. Before I came to the U.S, I was excited and looking forward to going to the Minnesota. But I worried about my English skill. When I arrived to the airport, I met my host mother for the first time. She hugged me, so I was so glad. Her smile eased my mind.
During my homestay, I learned a lot of things. When I didn't understand, a lot of people helped me. Americans are so kind, and always smiled. I like the American character. I was surprised at all things. For example, American houses, buildings, life, foods and customs. When I went to the grocery store, my host mother greeted and talked with the clerk. Japanese seldom talked to them. I thought it was a good custom.
I enjoyed my host mother. Her name is Veronica. She is so kind. We like Harry Potter, so we watched the DVDs on TV at night. She likes to make scrap books, and we made it. This scrap book is filled with my American memories. This is my precious thing. Then, I met a lot of her friends. Her close friend is Kim, and she is Yui's host mother. We had dinner, went to a dog park, and played games together. Yui and I cooked a bowl of rice topped with chicken and eggs, Oyako-don. They said "It is good. Thank you for cooking for us. ", so I was happy.
I had a good time for a month. Minnesota is a good state. When I go back to Japan, I want to study English more. And I want to go to the Minnesota again. I appreciate my host mother, theachers, my friends, my family and a lot of people. Thank you so much!!!!

I am going to talk about my favorite elementary school memory. When I was elementary school student, I was naughty. I played soccer with boys, and played tag. My favorite elementary school memory is graduation ceremony. I like school, teacher and friends, so I didn't want to graduate. The day, I was parked up in my best clothes. We took a diploma, and sang graduation songs. I was cried. After that, we held graduation party in gym. I took many pictures, and talked with teacher and friends. I had enjoyed time this day. Music Station is a long-running Japanese music television program, and broadcast weekly from 8pm. to 9pm. on TV asahi. Many people called it "M sute". The host is Tamori! I like him. Many singers appears it, sometimes foreign singer appears. I watch Music Station, then I can know latest music. I watch it every week. Also I like drama. I watched many dramas. I will talk about my favorite dish. I like to eat. But I have strong likes and dislikes about food. My favorite dish is stew. I have liked stew since early childhood. I read a book whose the title is "Not Again". This story is about a boy's life. His name is David. He like basketball. The day is his first ball game for the top team. He ate breakfast quickly, and went out. But it happened. He had an accident, and he was lucky to be alive. His brain was fine, but his legs were too badly damaged to support him. He would be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

The end of the year

I came spring vacation. December 26, I went to Joyful to see my friend. Her name is Ayumi. She and I was same class mate in high school. She is my precious friend. She live in Fukuoka, and she return home now. I was glad to see her. I received birth day present, and this is import goods. This is so preety. We talked for 5 hours, but I didn't tire of talking with her. I will go to Fukuoka to see her next spring vacation.

After that, I went to downtown to hold a drinking party. This party's member was basket ball club's friends in high school. I was organizer, so I was hard work. We talked various story during eat and drink. They are so kind and funny girl. I like them so mucg. Then, we went to Karaoke for 2 hours. I enjoyed time for them.



I went to Kagoshima with riceball team for 2 days. I had never been to Kagashima, so I was looking forward to going there. We take a tour every winter vacation, and went to Aso Farm Land last year. But Kagoshima is far. I have to drive a car, so I worried about my driving sense. First of all, I picked up them. I drove in high way for 3 hours. We sang and talked in car. When we arrived Kirishima, we ate noodles. Next, we went to Kirishima hotel. This is a deluxe hotel, and it is a big room. We ate a dinner, I ate too much. After that, we soaked a hot spring. There are many bathes. My favorite hot spring is an open-air bath. Then, we hold a drinking party. But I can't drink alcohol. But I drank a white distilled liquor and soda's kan, so I became to sleep. Next day, I awake up and ate breakfast. Then, I soaked a hot spring again. We went to Kirishima shrine. It is one of the famous shrine. I bought 2 charms. One is my sister's charm. Another is mine. Today's weather is rain, so we decided to go back. This tour was great! Kirishima is great spot! I had enjoy tome. Where will we take a tour?
